Anthony P. (Tony) Rodems, Director of Marketing, joined H.G. Golf Properties in July of 2002. With modern technology constantly changing and the dependence upon computers in the world market, Tony stepped in to elevate the company to a competitive level in this arena. Tony graduated in May of 2001 from Indiana University with a degree in Management with concentrated studies in the area of marketing. He entered the workforce as a Corporate Account Manager at CDW Computers in Chicago where many of his first clients were Fortune 500 companies. Tony firmly established his marketing abilities by meeting his goal every month and was ultimately honored at a dinner hosted by “Stormin” Norman Schwarzkopf. While there was never any pressure to join the golf business from Tony’s father, the love for the golf trade was developed at a young age when Tony was first exposed to the maintenance side of the golf course with a weed-eater in his hand. Tony’s education, along with his motivation and new ideas, has already helped HGGP to move forward into the 21st century. Through the development and implementation of strategies that incorporate Internet and E-mail marketing, Tony will be instrumental in the future growth of H.G. Golf Properties. Staying ahead of the competition and having a prominent presence in the World Wide Web market is top priority in golfer retention. |
